We know we're preaching to the choir here, but Colorado is a really nice place to live. Unfortunately (or fortunately), we're not the only ones who've noticed. While we may not have a beach to offer, we've got just about everything else—and our state's attractions are breakin' some records. According to the Colorado Tourism Office, our tourism spending has exceeded previous records for the past five years, and 2017 is likely to be no exception (just take a look at all of those out-of-state license plates on the road). Those tourists spent about $19.1 billion last year alone (thanks, guys!). While excessive spending habits are great for Colorado, that probably isn't the case when it comes to your wallet.
This week on The Dime Roll, we've got a personal take on spending habits from one of our own here at The Dime, as well as a little astronomy lesson in honor of the summer solstice. Plus, as always, we're bringing you great content from around the web to keep you informed on all of the things.
Are you a diehard Dimer? If so, we'd love for you to pass us along to your friends and family (dogs and grandmas included). We also love hearing from our readers, so hit us up on Facebook and Twitter if you've got something to share. (C'mon...you know you want to.)
