The Dime Roll: Here's to Changing Seasons Changing Us

September 22, 2017

This week on The Dime Roll, we're taking some inspo from the changing of the seasons. After all, as much as youandwe may not want to admit it, summer is over, and fall is officially upon us. However, what better time to do a little personal reset? First up: the four spaces in your life that are probably/definitely due for a deep clean ('s time you take some Lysol to that colony that's currently flourishing on top of your fridge). Once all your nooks and crannies are spick and span, turn your attention to your 9-to-5—but not in the way you might think. If you're jonesin' to get your financial goals squared away once and for all, take a closer look at the professional skills you use at work every day. Do you negotiate prices or review proposals? Utilize that keen bargaining sense at home to become a conscious consumer. If you're a wiz at managing projects, repurpose those project checklists to lead you through the development of a detailed personal budget and savings plan. You'd be surprised how the skills you've been honing while slaying away erryday will set you up success in other areas of your life. Now how's that for multi-tasking?

Are you a diehard Dimer? If so, we'd love for you to pass us along to your friends and family (dogs and grandmas included). We also love hearing from our readers, so hit us up on Facebook and Twitter if you've got something to share. (C' know you want to.)
