This holiday season, The Dime is taking on the theme of giving back. We have dedicated a portion of our posts, including our weekly Dime Roll, to introducing volunteer opportunities all over the state and other ways for everyone to lend a hand or give back to the community this holiday season.
As we approach the Holidays and the New Year, we have some advice on great gifts for kids that are under $10 as well as how to prepare yourself financially for 2016.
Meanwhile, in the spirit of giving back, we continue to list opportunities and ways you can donate your time and money to a good cause this holiday season. It’s all included in this week’s Dime Roll!
This week on the Dime:
Upcoming Holiday Volunteer Opportunities:
Florence Crittenton Services – Adopt a Family over the holidays and help teen parents with basic necessities and gifts for their children.
Project C.U.R.E. – Help people in developing countries this holiday season. Kits for Kids is a great project for families, coworkers and the community.
