The Dime Roll: Welcome to the Ice Age, an 81-Year-Old App Developer, and More

March 10, 2017

March is fully underway—which means the promise of spring is just around the corner, the promise of snow and cold temps, is, well, imminent, and most of us are in the throes of settling up our taxes with Uncle Sam. If you're receiving a tax refund for 2016, first off—congratulations! Second, we've got the five things you absolutely SHOULDN'T do with that check coming your way (as tempting as some may be). Then, in true Shakespearean fashion, we impart on you a few words of caution as we head into the ides of March (comin' atcha March 15th—don't you dare pull a J. Caesar). Plus, as always, we have some of the best links from around the web (including two Russian scientists hellbent on bringing back the Ice Age—woolly mammoths and all).

If you love The Dime, do us a favor and share it with your friends. We’re always looking for new Facebook and Twitter followers, and don’t forget to forward the weekly newsletter to anyone you think might enjoy us. Thank you!
